Information about illumination levels was previously available from IDA Information Sheet No. 77 "Recommended Lighting Levels for Exterior Lighting." However, it's information concerning roadway lighting is now superceded by IESNA/ANSI RP-8-00. Other recommendations are superceded by IESNA RP-33-99 -- see below.
